TriAxial Design and Analysis, Inc. is a mechanical engineering company with offices are located in La Mesa, California near San Diego. Project and assignments are typically performed onsite or remotely for customers throughout the United States. Most of our customers are located in Southern California. Triaxial was founded in November of 1996 by the CEO Phil Sluder. In 2013 TriAxial Design and Analysis, Inc. was registered as a California corporation.
When you contract with TriAxial to work with you on your project, you are not just hiring temporary staff to fill a seat; we provide you with the knowledge base of our entire team and their vast experiences in industry and with SOLIDWORKS. As a team we work together, drawing on the specialty skills of each team member, to quickly and accurately finish your assigned tasks.

Philip Sluder
Founder, CEO and Chief Engineer
Phil is well known throughout the SOLIDWORKS community. His 38+ years of commercial and military product experience includes complex mechanical design, surface modeling, industrial design, technical analysis, and SOLIDWORKS instruction. He is a Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) and Certified SOLIDWORKS Instructor. Phil is the primary customer interface and runs the business operations.

Bill Fries
BSME, San Diego State University
Bill has a broad range of design and management experiences over 40+ years. These include early years as a machinist, applications engineer and quality manager. Organizations include SAIC, General Atomics Aeronautical, Encad, Maxwell Technologies, Daylight Solutions and others. Bill has been awarded 15 US Patents. He has been using SOLIDWORKS hand on for over 12 years. This extensive background and skill set enable quick idea development and design that are exciting, manufacturable, and very cost effective.

Dave brings over 30 years of manufacturing experience and 15 years using SOLIDWORKS to the team. Dave’s knowledge and hands-on experience contributes to the goal at TriAxial Design to engineer cost effective and easily manufactured solutions for our customers. Dave currently spends the majority of his time developing new business for TDA.
